Louie Suite
A delicate, almost feminine room with husky furniture and pod chairs. Colours of spring apple greens, limes and olives. Mirrored reflection of the spectacular valley views. Entrance to suite through north facing deck. -
Tane Suite
An open sun filled suite with funky objects d'art and tones of lemongrass, gold and eucalypt, ensuite, walk in wardrobe and fully self contained kitchenette. Private deck with forest views. -
Shecky Suite
An earthy and tribal feel with a hint of autumnal colours of reds, browns and burnt orange. Polished floor boards and soaring ceilings. Spacious bathroom and framed Yarra Valley views from the bed and decking.

Availability is for 2pm check in on the date shown until 12 midday the following day for all suites except Tane Suite which is available for check in from 4:00pm.
Please be advised that the site is updated regularly however discrepencies may exist between what is actually available and what the site reports.

Mt Rael Accommodation is closed until Friday 20th August except for current bookings during that period.
The Shecky & Louie suites are no longer available. All current bookings or vouchers for these suites have the option of the Tane or Javan Suites and will be offered an additional Voucher worth

Yarra Valley luxury accommodation
Mt Rael Retreat is an iconic Yarra Valley business originally built in the early 1970's as a private residence and then operated as a nursery. The suites have undergone a contemporary refurbishment to provide 5 modern suites setting a benchmark in style and comfort for the savvy traveller. A 6th room; the Javan is available upon request. It is situated beside the Tane is virtually identical. The hip feel is enhanced with designer
furniture, funky fixtures and contemporary art far removed
from the olde worlde style of yesteryear.
Each suite boasts crisp linen, bath robes upon request, split system air
con heating, TV, stereo, clock radio, T2 teas, plunger coffee
and full continental breakfast. Recline, relax and soak up
the panoramic Yarra Valley views.
Mt Rael Retreat is an adults only retreat. If all rooms are exclusively booked children maybe included if pre-arranged. The rooms are not suitable for pets, if guests are seen removing pets from the room a additional charge equivalent to a nights stay will be charged.
Check-in from 2pm for all suites except for Tane & Javan Suites which are available from 4:00pm. Checkout for all suites is 12noon.

A regal suite with royal colours, the feel of a 50's smoking lounge, lush and sultry with a touch of fun. Entrance to suite through north facing private deck, stunning Valley views. Ensuite with bathroom valley views. Price $280 per night.

A 6th room; the Javan is available upon request. It is situated beside the Tane is virtually identical.
Please Note:
Cancellation made within 72 hours of check-in time will be charged at quoted room rate.
Note: With late notice, if the accommodation can be rebooked a minimum charge
may apply which would be the difference of the quoted room rate and the lettable rate.
Vouchers are valid for 6 months from date of issue and must be used within this time. Saturdays are booked out 3 months in advance so to avoid disappointment please book early. Extensions of vouchers may be approved within the first 2 months of issue depending on availability.
Vouchers are non-refundable.
